John Keane

John Keane is a producer, engineer, and musician. His studio in Athens, GA has been host to a variety of artists such as R.E.M., the B52s, Cowboy Junkies, The Indigo Girls, and Widespread Panic.

John has been involved in the creation of numerous gold and multi-platinum albums, and has been an avid Pro Tools user since 1991. John has participated in many music conference panels as an expert on subjects such as record production, home recording, and Pro Tools. These include South by Southwest in Austin, The Tape Op conference in Portland OR, Athfest in Athens, GA, and the Cutting Edge in New Orleans. He also teaches a Pro Tools course for the Music Business Program at the University of Georgia.
